We start our leeks off in modules and transplant, this has proved a good method for a dependable crop. According to variety it can be sown in February (indoors) onwards to give leeks from the summer and on through the winter and into the spring.

This is the earliest of the open pollinated varieties which makes it one of the best for harvesting as baby leeks but it also grows into excellent full sized leeks: this means that you can enjoy feasting on it over a long harvest season. Price for 50 seeds. |
