SOW & GROW: a small pinch in a pot at any time of the year or a short row (30cm long) once the soil is workable. For a family you will need 2 short rows at a time. For a continuous supply you need to sow repeatedly every 10-14 days. Shallow rooted and hungry your baby leaves will enjoy rich compost and need to be kept moist. In spring these baby leaves are ready in about 40 days, in warmer weather they might be a little quicker and a bit slower in cooler weather. Treat as a cut-&come-again leaving 2-3cm to resprout: once they start to form a central stem stop cutting and replace with a later sowing.
