TOMATO MONTECARLO F1 ~ productive plants are laden with large juicy flattened globe shaped toms 12 seeds SOW: about 6-8 weeks before the last frost is expected sow in modules, cover or put on a windowsill. Pot up and grow on before hardening off after frost danger has passed. GROW: plant in the greenhouse or in a sunny sheltered part of your garden. For the best flavour keep soil evenly damp (try not to over-water or overfeed). Montecarlo, being indeterminate, will grow tall and will need supporting. It will bloom, set new fruit and ripen fruit all at the same time throughout the season. There is no need to pinch out side shoots unless you prefer to do so. EAT: Their firm pinkish red flesh slices well and they are lovely in salads or for homemade sauce
