This high yielding trailing gem squash produces fruit from August onwards. They are dark green in colour and tennis ball sized. Having a high level of natural sugars means that they caramelise when pan fried - yummy. Not only do the mature early in comparison to most other squashes they will also store until Christmas and beyond (will change colour) so you have lots of time to enjoy them
