Native to the Lombardia region of Italy, you can grow and harvest your own crop of very long (12-15cm), thin sweet peppers. Gather them when green or wait while they turn red, yellow or orange as they continue to ripen. In Italy this variety is usually cooked whole. They can also be pickled or dried for storing.
