This heirloom variety has beautiful, deeply cut, frilly large leaves with white stems. They add a crisp texture (and flavour) to salads or you can cook them! It is resistant to cold and wet weather, a great autumn/winter green for your garden. The hearts can be blanched creamy white: to do this simply tie the outer leaves together 2-3 weeks before you harvest them. Price for 40 seeds.
