Cauliflower Winter Medaillon F1 naturally nurtured seed

£1.75 / pack(s)

Something special: one of the earliest cauliflowers to harvest in February and March with tasty well protected firm white curds.  More northerly gardeners will need to provide winter protection but it has good cold tolerance for everywhere else.   Price for 18 seeds.

SOW: in May & June.  We start all our cauliflowers in pots or modules (seed depth 15mmto give them a good root system.

GROW: transplant about 6 weeks after sowing to final position in firm ground, space about 65cm apart.  More northerly gardeners will need to provide winter protection but it has good cold tolerance for everywhere else. Regular watering is essential; cauliflowers do not like to get dry. Keep an eye out for caterpillars.

EAT: Winter Medaillon should be ready to crop in February and March.  Steam & serve as a side dish, lovely with curry, or coat with spiced natural yogurt and oven bake.
